Isidro Purisima is new acting peace adviser: Palace

(Eagle News) — The Palace on Tuesday, Feb. 21, announced  Isidro Purisima is the new acting presidential adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity (OPAPRU). The Palace said also appointed as chair of the National Amnesty Commission was Leah Tanodra-Armamento. Purisima replaced Carlito Galvez, Jr., who was appointed the country’s Defense chief last month. Duterte appoints three new DOJ undersecretaries, one assistant secretary

In a statement, the DOJ said the President appointed lawyers Emmeline Aglipay-Villar, Adrian Sugay, Mark Perete as undersecretaries; and Neal Vincent Bainto as assistant secretary upon the recommendation of Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra. Based on an appointment paper released on Wednesday, May 9, Domagoso was appointed undersecretary of the Department of Social Welfare and Development. (Eagle News)–President Rodrigo Duterte on Monday, April 23, has appointed Jose Arturo Garcia Jr. as general manager of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority.
