(Eagle News)–Almost 700,000 people in Luzon were affected by the southwest monsoon enhanced by storms. The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office said the 691,574 individuals come from the 469 barangays across Luzon. This translates to a total of 154,671 families from the National Capital Region, Regions I, III, IV-A, and Cordillera Administrative Region. NDRRMC: At least two killed in incidents caused by enhanced southwest monsoon
(Eagle News) — At least two people have been killed in incidents caused by the continuous rains brought about by an enhanced southwest monsoon. The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office on Monday, Aug. 13, said Dioscoro Camacho of Marikina City and Gloria Borlongan Mendoza of Quezon City died of drowning.
