Three additional train coaches to hit MRT-3 tracks starting today, Oct. 15

(Eagle News)–Three additional train coaches will hit the Metro Rail Transit-3 tracks starting today, Oct. 15, the MRT-3 said. In a statement, the MRT-3 said the three coaches will be deployed during evening off-peak hours, from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., after Japanese maintenance provider Sumitomo Corporation-Mitsubishi Heavy Industries – TES Philippines on Monday, Oct. 14, signed a consent for the limited deployment of one Dalian train set. Delay on removal of derailed MRT train

There will be a delay on the removal of the derailed MRT train in Taft. Ave due to the need of proper equipment as well as coordination of various agencies, but despite the delay, the MRT is already back to normal operations.
