Duterte visits wake of victims in Iloilo-Guimaras sea tragedy
(Eagle News)–President Rodrigo Duterte on Wednesday, Aug. 7, visited the kin of the victims in the Iloilo-Guimaras sea tragedy. Each family received P50,000 from Duterte himself when he visited the Gegato Abecia funeral home in Iloilo City. At least 31 were killed after motorboats M/B Chi-Chi, M/B Keziah and M/B Jenny Vince capsized on Saturday, reportedly due to strong waves and winds.
