Estrada lifts truck ban in Manila

MANILA, Philippines — Manila Mayor Joseph Ejercito Estrada on Saturday lifted the truck ban effective noon in Manila. 8,613 persons stay in 8 evacuation sites in Manila

MANILA, July 16 (PNA) — A total of 8,613 individuals are now temporarily staying in eight evacuation sites in the City of Manila in the aftermath of typhoon “Glenda”. New river ferry terminal in Sta. Mesa

The MMDA ferry service opens a new terminal in Sta. Mesa, Manila. Since it started operations, the MMDA ferry has alleviated the traffic problem in the city. Other local government units also plan to open their own ferry terminals.
