Binay said Monette Bernardo, 44, succumbed to the gunshot wound she sustained when she was attacked last Thursday. According to the police, Bernardo was shot by a lone gunman after she alighted from her vehicle to enter her residence along Makiling Street in Barangay Olympia in Makati.
