LTFRB suspends testing and re-sealing of taxi meters

QUEZON City, Philippines – Due to the reports of corruption in its re-sealing stations, the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board decided to suspend the testing and re-sealing of taxi meters. According to LTFRB Chairman Martin Delgra, the suspension will last until further advisory from the LTFRB and the government agency will not apprehend taxi operators with meters that were not yet tested and re-sealed. P2P, walang operasyon sa Marso 24

(Eagle News) — Walang operasyon ang premium point-to-point (P2P) bus service sa Marso 24 hanggang 27 dahil sa public holiday. Kasabay nito, isasagawa naman ang preventive maintenance ng P2P buses sa mga nasabing petsa habang balik-operasyon naman ang mga nabanggit sa Marso 28. Magkakaroon din ng checking ang LTFRB kasama ang operator ng premium airport bus service ukol sa public holiday schedule.

Last day for application of special permits for buses

According to the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), today is the last day for bus operators to apply for special permit to be able to travel in November 1. This measure is to ensure that commuters will have sufficient means of transportation during the said holiday. The LTFRB added that 960 bus operators have been issued special permits. QUEZON CITY, Sep. 17 — The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has a new 24/7 hotline number, 1342, which the commuting public can call to report delinquent public utility vehicles (PUVs).
