Metro council formed to help address traffic in metropolis

(Eagle News) — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority has announced the creation of a council that will study and suggest measures to improve vehicular congestion in the metropolis. LTFRB mulls options vs groups who joined transport strike

Stop and Go coalition threatens to stage another strike

QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — The Stop and Go Coalition of transport groups threatened to conduct another transport strike aiming to paralyze 80% of the public transport in Metro Manila. LTFRB-approved P8 mininum jeepney fare to take effect on February 8

  (Eagle News) – The minimum fare for jeepneys will now be P8, starting Wednesday, February 8. This was after the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) announced the approval of the one-peso provisional jeepney fare increase. LTFRB releases special bus permits

QUEZON City, Philippines – The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board released 500 special bus permits in order to accommodate the rush of passengers this holiday season.
