Paul Hernandez, the fourth nominee of the party-list in the 2016 polls, replaced Rep. Ciriciaco Calalang, who died recently after suffering a stroke. Apart from Hernandez, Rep. Benhur Salimbangon represents the Kabayan party-list.

According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), 26 fishermen are still missing 2 days after “Kabayan” left the Philippine area of responsibility.
