QC suspends gov’t work, classes for Friday, Sept. 14, and Saturday, Sept. 15
(Eagle News)—The Quezon City government has suspended government work in the city on Sept. 14 and 15. Classes at all levels in public and private schools in the city were also suspended on those days. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration has said Typhoon “Mungkhat” has entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility as of 3 p.m.
Abella: Gov’t work, classes to resume tomorrow, Oct. 18
(Eagle News) — Government work will resume on Wednesday, Oct. 18. According to Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella, contrary to a social media post circulating online, classes in public and private schools nationwide will also resume on that day. The declaration made by the Office of the Executive Secretary, he said, applies to all levels. “For the information and guidance of all concerned,” he said.
