Classes at all levels in public and private schools in the city were also suspended on those days. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration has said Typhoon “Mungkhat” has entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility as of 3 p.m.

According to Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella, contrary to a social media post circulating online, classes in public and private schools nationwide will also resume on that day.
