Expect power rate increase this month – Meralco

QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — Consumers should expect an increase in their electric bills this month due to the crude oil price hike. “Customers can expect even higher rates in coming months,” said Meralco in a statement. According to Meralco Utility Economics Head Lawrence Fernandez, the increase will particularly affect the generation charge. Mababang generation charge, dahilan ng bawas-singil sa kuryente

MANILA, Philippines (Eagle News) — May bawas singil sa kuryente ang Meralco ngayong buwan, ito ay papatak sa 27 centavos (Php 0.27) kada kilowatt hour.
