QUEZON City, Philippines – The senate opposition is asking President Rodrigo Duterte to consider carefully before totally abrogating the Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement (EDCA) between the Philippines and the United States. US to build military facilities in the Philippines

The Department of National Defense confirmed that the United States of America will construct five military facilities all over the Philippines under the Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement. Biazon says its possible that US bases will return in the Philippines

According to House Committee on National Defense Chairman Rodolfo Biazon there is a possibility of the return of the American military bases in the country and for the US forces to stay longer in the Philippines.
