According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 10:49 a.m. The epicenter was 103 kilometers southeast of Tarragona. The depth of focus was 53 kilometers. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 5:51 a.m. The epicenter was 403 kilometers southeast of Balut Island. The depth of focus was 14 kilometers. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 7 a.m. The epicenter was 115 kilometers southeast of Sarangani Island. The depth of focus of the earthquake, which was of tectonic origin, was 68 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
