4.7-magnitude earthquake strikes off Davao Occidental early Tuesday

(Eagle News) — A 4.7-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental early Tuesday, May 3.

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 5:51 a.m.

The epicenter was 403 kilometers southeast of Balut Island.

The depth of focus was 14 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
