4.2-magnitude earthquake strikes off Davao Occidental

(Eagle News) — A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental early Saturday, April 23.

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 6:26 a.m.

The epicenter was 355 kilometers southeast of Balut Island.

The depth of focus was 226 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
