DOLE: 60,000 employees now on regular status

QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — The Department of Labor and Employment said that there were now 60,000 new regular employees, after the announced prohibition of the implementation of the “end-of-contract” or “endo” last March 2017. Moratorium sa pagpapadala ng OFWs sa Qatar binawi na ng DOLE

QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) encouraged job seekers to make use of the government employment website to look for jobs and thus, lessen the unemployment rate in the country. DOLE studies deployment ban in the Middle East

QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) —  The Department of Labor and Employment is studying the possibility of implementing a deployment ban of overseas Filipino workers in the Middle East. Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III said that this was in light of the agency receiving numerous reports of abuse on OFWS there.
