3.8-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 3.8-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Monday, June 17. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 80 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos at 10:02 a.m. The depth of focus was 19 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

JUST IN: 4.0-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Thursday, June 13. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, struck 356 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 8:40 a.m. The depth of focus was four kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.  

3.5-magnitude earthquake jolts Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)—-A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Tuesday, April 16. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 101 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 4:22 p.m. The depth of focus of the quake, which was of tectonic origin, was 8 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.  

2.5-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)—A 2.5-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Tuesday, April 9. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 40 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos at 6:35 a.m. The depth of focus of the quake, which was of tectonic origin, was 192 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershovks were expected.

3.2-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 3.2-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Monday, April 1. The quake struck 45 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 6:59 a.m. The depth of focus of the earthquake was 176 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.    

4.2-magnitude quake jolts Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)—A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Thursday, March 21. The quake hit 131 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 5:32 a.m., the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said. According to PHIVOLCS, depth of focus of the quake, which was of tectonic origin, was 119 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.

3.1-magnitude quake jolts Davao Occidental

(Eagle News) — A 3.1-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Friday, March 8. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake struck 134 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 8:03 a.m. The quake, which was of tectonic origin, had a depth of focus of 9 kilometers. No damage nor aftershocks were expected.  

3.2-magnitude quake jolts Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 3.2-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Thursday, March 7. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake struck 79 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos at 3:54 a.m. The earthquake, which was of tectonic origin, had a depth of focus of 80 kilometers. No damage nor aftershocks were expected.  

4.0-magnitude earthquake jolts Davao Occidental

(Eagle News) — A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Thursday, Feb. 28. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 90 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos at 1:16 p.m. The earthquake was of tectonic origin and had a depth of focus of 52 kilometers. PHIVOLCS said no aftershocks were expected.

(Eagle News) — Niyanig ng magnitude 4.3 na lindol ang bayan ng Jose Abad Santos sa Davao Occidental ngayong araw, Pebrero 27. Naitala ang pagyanig sa 207 kilometers southeast ng Jose Abad Santos, kaninang alas 8:11 ng umaga . May lalim na 124 kilometers ang lindol at tectonic ang origin. 5.1-magnitude quake jolts Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 5.1-magnitude earthquake hit Davao Occidental on Tuesday, Feb. 12. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake struck 88 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 4:01 p.m. Depth of focus was 48 kilometers. According to PHIVOLCS, an Intensity I was  felt in Kiamba and Alabel in Sarangani. PHIVOLCS said aftershocks were possible.

5.2-magnitude quake jolts Davao Occidental

(Eagle News) — A magnitude-5.2 earthquake hit Davao Occidental on Tuesday, Jan. 29. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake struck 97 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 1:26 p.m. The quake had a depth of 123 kilometers and was tectonic in origin. No significant damage was expected.
