4.5-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News) — A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Friday, Feb. 7. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 2:27 a.m., had its epicenter 107 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos. It had a depth of focus of 17 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

4.0-magnitude quake strikes off Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)-A 4.0-magnitude quake struck off Davao Occidental waters on Saturday, Dec. 28. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the epicenter of the quake, of tectonic origin, was 175 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos at  4:38 p.m. Depth of focus was 9 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

4.3-magnitude earthquake jolts Davao Occidental

(Eagle News) — A 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Thursday, Nov. 21. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 260 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 1:14 p.m. Depth of focus was 47 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

JUST IN: 4.1-magnitude quake strikes off Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental early Sunday, Oct. 6. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 142 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos at 1:11 a.m. Depth of focus was 26 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.8-magnitude quake strikes off Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 3.8-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao  Occidental early Friday, Sept. 6. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 236 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 2:36 a.m. Depth of focus was 70 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

JUST IN: 3.9-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 3.9-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Friday, Aug. 2. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 69 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 3:22 p.m. Depth of focus was 90 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

JUST IN: 3.7-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 3.7-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Tuesday, July 30. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 187 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 8:20 a.m. Depth of focus was one kilometer. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.0-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental early Friday, June 14. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 5 kilometers northeast of Malita at 3:32 a.m. Depth of focus was 207 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.  

4.0-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 103 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 6:08 a.m. Depth of focus was 37 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.3-magnitude quake jolts Davao Occidental

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 191 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 1:36 p.m. Depth of focus was 106 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.6-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 3.6-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental early Tuesday, June 4. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 68 kilometers southwest of Sarangani at 4:34 a.m. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.0-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)—A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Thursday, May 16. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 339 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 8:48 a.m. The depth of focus of the quake was 82 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.
