4.4-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News) — A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Monday, December 28. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 12:46 p.m., had its epicenter 193 kilometers southeast of Sarangani. It was the second earthquake in the area during the day. Earlier, a 4.9-magnitude earthquake hit the province. The quake had a depth of 12 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

3.4-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News) — A 3.4-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental Saturday, Nov. 28. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 7:31 a.m., had its epicenter 108 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos. It had a depth of 47 kilometers and was tectonic in origin. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

4.9-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 4.9-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Wednesday night. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 11:40 p.m. It had its epicenter 140 kilometers southeast of Sarangani. It had a depth of 14 kilometers.  

4.8-magnitude quake strikes off Davao Occidental early Friday

(Eagle News)–A 4.8-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental early Friday, Oct. 23. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 4:10 a.m., had its epicenter 47 kilometers southeast of Don Marcelino. It had a depth of 139 kilometers and was tectonic in origin. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.8-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental early Thursday

(Eagle News)–A 3.8-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental early Thursday, Oct. 22. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 3:52 a.m., had its epicenter 86 kilometers southwest of Sarangani. It had a depth of 15 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.7-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 3.7-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Friday, Sept. 25. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 2:52 p.m., had its epicenter 99 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos. It had a depth of 174 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

4.3-magnitude quake jolts Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Monday, Sept. 14. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 10:47 a.m., had its epicenter 246 kilometers southeast of Sarangani. It had a depth of 21 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded. Earlier, a 4.5-magnitude earthquake also struck off Davao Occidental.  

4.5-magnitude quake strikes off Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental early Monday, Sept. 14. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 4:41 a.m., had its epicenter 287 kilometers southeast of Sarangani. It had a depth of 33 kilometers and was tectonic in origin. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

4.6-magnitude earthquake strikes off Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Sunday, Sept. 13. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 8:41 a.m., had its epicenter 208 kilometers southeast of Sarangani. It had a depth of 63 kilometers and was tectonic in origin. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

6.3-magnitude quake strikes off Davao Occidental: PHIVOLCS

(Eagle News)–A 6.3-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Wednesday, Sept. 9. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 3:18 p.m., had its epicenter 159 kilometers southeast of Sarangani. It had a depth of 73 kilometers, and was tectonic in origin. No damage to property was recorded but aftershocks are expected

4.6-magnitude quake strikes off Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Saturday, Aug. 15. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 6:53 p.m., had its epicenter 100 kilometers southeast of Sarangani. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 9:03 p.m., had its epicenter 118 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos. It had a depth of focus of 10 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
