The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 19 kilometers southeast of Tulunan at 6:31 a.m. Depth of focus was 22 kilometers. 3.0-magnitude quake hits Cotabato; Intensity II felt in Kidapawan City

(Eagle News)–A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Cotabato on Tuesday, Nov. 12. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 13 kilometers northeast of Makilala at 12:37 p.m. Depth of focus was one kilometer. The following were recorded: Intensity Intensity II- Kidapawan City Instrumental Intensity Intensity I- Kidapawan City No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

4.1-magnitude quake jolts Cotabato

(Eagle News)–A 4.1-magnitude earthquake hit Cotabato on Saturday, Nov. 9. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 22 kilometers southeast of Tulunan at 8:07 a.m. Depth of focus was 12 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.  

Mild 3.2-magnitude quake hits Cotabato

(Eagle News)–A mild 3.2-magnitude earthquake struck Cotabato on Thursday, Nov. 7. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 18 kilometers southeast of Tulunan at 3:13 p.m. Depth of focus was 30 kilometers. The following intensity and instrumental intensities were recorded: Intensity: Intensity II – Kidapawan City Instrumental Intensities: Intensity III – Malungon, Sarangani Intensity II – Kidapawan City No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.  

5.0-magnitude quake hits Cotabato

(Eagle News)–Another earthquake struck Cotabato in a span of only several days. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the 5.0-magnitude quake, of tectonic origin, hit 18 kilometers southeast of Makilala at 2:07 p.m. Depth of focus was two kilometers. (Eagle News)–Classes were suspended in some areas on Wednesday, Oct. 30, after a 6.6-magnitude earthquake hit Mindanao. Below is a list: Digos, Davao del Sur – all levels Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur – all levels Island Garden of Samal, Davao del Norte – All levels Koronadal, South Cotabato – all levels At least six people were killed and several were injured after the quake, which hit days after a 6.3-magnitude earthquake struck the area.

(Eagle News)–At least one person died and several were injured after a 6.6-magnitude earthquake struck Cotabato on Tuesday, Oct. 29. The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office identified the fatality as Nestor Narciso, 66, of Koronadal City. (Eagle News)–A 6.6-magnitude earthquake struck Cotabato on Tuesday, Oct. 29,  the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said. PHIVOLCS earlier said the quake that hit 26 kilometers northeast of Tulunan at 9:04 a.m. was a 6.3-magnitude one. (Eagle News)–A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Cotabato on Sunday, Oct. 27. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, an aftershock of the 6.3-magnitude quake that hit the province on Oct. 16, hit 15 kilometers southeast of Tulunan at 12:56 p.m. Depth of focus was 30 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.7-magnitude quake hits Cotabato

(Eagle News)–A 3.7-magnitude earthquake struck Cotabato on Saturday, Oct. 26. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake,an aftershock of the 6.3-magnitude earthquake on Oct. 16, hit 24 kilometers southeast of Tulunan at 5:38 a.m. Depth of focus was 44 kilometers. The following instrumental intensity was recorded: Intensity II – Tupi, South Cotabato No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
