The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology issued the advisory following a 6.8-magnitude earthquake off the coast of Central Chile. The European Mediterranean Seismological Centre said the earthquake struck off the coast of Los Lagos on Sunday, Chile time. It had a depth of 10 kilometers. There were so far no reports of casualties.
