PAGASA said as a result, Bicol Region, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Aurora and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms. 3.2-magnitude quake hits Cagayan

(Eagle News)–A 3.2-magnitude earthquake struck Cagayan on Tuesday, Aug. 13. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 16 kilometers southwest of Santa Praxedes at 6:51 a.m. Depth of focus was 23 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

(Eagle News)—Another low pressure area was spotted near the Philippine Area of Responsibility, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said. PAGASA said the LPA was estimated 335 kilometers east of Aparri. DOH declares measles outbreak in Region 2 after 500% spike in cases

  (Eagle News) — The Department of Health (DOH) declared a measles outbreak in some parts of Cagayan Valley or Region 2 after a 500% spike in cases in February this year compared to February last year. (Eagle News) — A 3.0-magnitude earthquake hit Cagayan on Thursday, Jan. 31, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said. According to PHIVOLCS, the quake struck 39 kilometers southeast of Gonzaga at 3:52 a.m. An Intensity I was felt in Gonzaga, PHIVOLCS said. The earthquake had a depth of 19 kilometers. It was of tectonic origin. PHIVOLCS said no aftershocks nor damage were expected.

5.5-magnitude quake hits Cagayan

(Eagle News)–A 5.5-magnitude earthquake struck  Cagayan on Thursday, Jan. 24.
