At least three killed in QC fire

(Eagle News)–At least three people were killed in a fire that hit a merchandise store in Quezon City on Thursday, Dec. 20. Authorities have yet to identify those killed in the fire that started at 3 a.m. in Novaliches, but reports said they included a five-year-old boy,  an 80-year-old woman and a 40-year-old woman. The fire, which reached the third alarm, spread to adjacent structures. A fire-out was declared at 4:22 a.m.  

Fire hits building in Valenzuela

(Eagle News) — A fire hit an industrial building in Valenzuela City on Tuesday, Dec. 11. The Bureau of Fire Protection said the blaze that hit the structure on Planters Street in Barangay Rincon past 8 a.m. Authorities are still trying to put out the fire, which has reached the third alarm, at press time.

(Eagle News)—–At least five people   were injured after a fire gutted a residential area in Manila on Friday, April 27. The fire in Oroquieta St. corner Doroteo Jose in Sta. (Eagle News) — Three people were killed in a fire that hit a commercial area in Manila on Friday, April 27. Authorities identified the fatalities as Zaldy Luna, 37; Angelito Jumares, 52; and Dennis Masaet, 30. Initial investigation showed the fire started on the ground floor of a commercial structure in Sta. Cruz at 3:08 a.m. A fire-out was declared at 5:50 a.m.  

At least five, including 4-month-old baby, killed in Bacoor fire

(Eagle News)—Five people, including a four-month-old baby, were killed in a fire that hit a residential area in Bacoor, Cavite on Tuesday, April 24. The fatalities were identified as Christopher Moyano, his live-in partner Shirley Abalos and their three children, including the baby. Initial investigation showed the fire started at 2:10 a.m., and was put out past 4 a.m. The cause of the fire and the damage to property have yet to be determined.
