Alert Level 1 still in place (Eagle News)–The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology has warned of an increase in seismic activity at Bulusan Volcano. PHIVOLCS raises alert level of Bulusan volcano

Says volcano has entered period of “low-level unrest” (Eagle News)–The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology has raised the alert level of Bulusan volcano. In an advisory, PHIVOLCS said the alert level was raised to 1 after it entered a period of “low-level unrest” with its sustained volcanic earthquakes that began on Oct. 14. 313 volcanic quakes monitored in Bulusan in last 24 hours: PHIVOLCS

(Eagle News) — Over 300 volcanic earthquakes were monitored in Bulusan in the last 24 hours. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology detected the 313 volcanic earthquakes a day after it announced the raising of the volcano’s alert level from 0 to 1.
