Northeasterly surface windflow prevails over extreme N. Luzon (Eagle News)–The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration continues to monitor an active tropical cyclone outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility. PAGASA monitors tropical storm “Bualoi” outside PAR; “Perla” intensifies into typhoon

(Eagle News)–The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration is monitoring a tropical storm outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility, although it is less likely to enter PAR. PAGASA said “Bualoi” was estimated  3,045 kilometers east of Visayas, packing maximum sustained winds of 65 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 80 kph.
