(Eagle News)–A rainfall advisory has been hoisted over parts of Aurora. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said light to moderate rains are particularly expected over Dipaculao, Maria Aurora, Dinalungan, Casiguran and Dilasag. (Eagle News) — A magnitude 5.4 quake rocked Aurora on Saturday morning, May 23, which was felt at intensity 6 in the province’s capital, Baler, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS). Brick of suspected cocaine found along Baler shoreline

(Eagle News)–A brick of suspected cocaine was found near the shoreline of Baler in Aurora early Sunday, March 3. According to the police, the cocaine, which was wrapped in black plastic with a “Lexus” marking, was discovered by a construction worker in Barangay Reserva around 7:30 a.m. Bricks of the suspected illegal drugs have been recovered in Philippine waters in the past months, with President Rodrigo Duterte blaming the international drug cartel for this. Brick of cocaine found off Aurora waters

(Eagle News)–A brick of cocaine estimated at P6.3 million was found off the waters of Aurora on Saturday, Feb. 23. The police on Monday, Feb. 25, said the cocaine was found by a local fisherman in Dingalan, who reported the find to the police. According to the police, the brick was wrapped in plastic and sealed with rubber tape. The cocaine has been sent to the Crime Lab to undergo testing.
