Suspect in deadly Isulan blasts killed in military, police operation

(Eagle News)–One of the suspects in the deadly Isulan, Sultan Kudarat blasts was killed in an operation by security forces on Saturday, Oct. 6.

Killed was Norodin Taib, an alleged member of the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters.

Authorities said Taib threw a grenade at police and military who were approaching his house in Barangay Kuloy, Shariff Aguak in Maguindanao.

This prompted the authorities to retaliate.

His alleged cohorts scampered away.

Taib and his men are believed responsible for the bombings on Aug. 28 and Sept. 2 that left several dead.
