Ridge of HPA extends over N. Luzon; easterlies affect rest of PHL

(Eagle News)–The ridge of a High Pressure Area is extending over Northern Luzon.

According to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration, the easterlies are also affecting the rest of the country.

As a result, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms are possible.

Zamboanga Peninsula and Palawan, PAGASA said, will have light  to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.

Central Luzon, Visayas, and the rest of  Luzon and Mindanao will have light  to moderate winds and slight to moderate winds as well.
