Rainfall advisory hoisted over parts of N. Luzon due to northeast monsoon

(Eagle News) — A rainfall advisory has been hoisted over parts of the country due to the northeast monsoon.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said moderate to occasionally heavy rains are being experienced over Calanasan in Apayao;Gattaran, Gonzaga and Peñablanca in Cagayan; Adams in Ilocos Norte; and in Cabagan, Ilagan City, San Mariano and San Pablo in Isabela.

Meanwhile, light to moderate rains are being felt in Conner, Flora, Kabugao, Luna, Pudtol and Santa Marcela in Apayao; Allacapan, Alcala, Amulung, Aparri, Baggao, Buguey, Camalanuigan, Claveria, Enrile, Iguig, Lasam, Lallo, Pamplona, Piat, Rizal, Santa Ana, Santa Teresita, Santo Niño, Santa Praxedes, Sanchez Mira, Solana, Tuao and Tuguegarao City in Cagayan; Delfin Albano, Divilacan, Gamu, Maconacon, Mallig, Palanan, Quezon, Quirino, Roxas, Santa Maria, Santo Tomas and Tumauini in Isabela; and in Pinukpuk, Rizal and Tabuk City in Kalinga.

The same conditions are being experienced in Natonin and Paracelis in Mountain Province.

PAGASA said these may persist for one to two hours.

“All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards,” PAGASA said.
