Rainfall advisory hoisted over parts of Luzon

(Eagle News) — A rainfall advisory was hoisted over parts of Luzon on Friday, Nov. 8.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said moderate to occasionally heavy rains are being experienced over Calanasan and Luna in Apayao; Aparri, Buguey, Gonzaga, Santa Ana, Santa Praxedes and Sanchez Mira in Cagayan; and in Adams and Pagudpud in Ilocos Norte.

Light to moderate rains, on the other hand, are being experienced in Conner, Flora, Kabugao, Pudtol and Santa Marcela in Apayao; Abulug, Allacapan, Ballesteros, Camalanuigan, Claveria, Lallo, Pamplona, Santa Teresita and Santo Niño in Cagayan; in Bangui, Carasi, Dumalneg, NuevaEra, Solsona and Vintar in Ilocos Norte; and Cabagan, San Pablo and Santo Tomas in Isabela.

PAGASA said these may persist for two to three hours.

“All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards. Residents along mountain slope are advised for possible landslides and flashflood,” PAGASA said.
