Rainfall advisory hoisted over N. Luzon

(Eagle News)–A rainfall advisory has been hoisted over parts of Northern Luzon.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said moderate to heavy rains are being experienced over Bantay, Cabugao, Caoayan, Magsingal, San Ildefonso, San Juan, Sto. Domingo, Santa Catalina Sinait and Vigan in Ilocos; in Aringay, Caba and Tubao in La Union; and in Bokod, Benguet due to the southwest monsoon.

PAGASA said these conditions may persist persist for 2 to 3 hrs and may affect nearby areas.

“Residents along mountain slopes are advised (against) possible landslides,mudslides, rock slides and flash floods,” PAGASA said.
