Rainfall advisory hoisted over N. Luzon

(Eagle News)–A rainfall advisory has been hoisted over Northern Luzon.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said in its 6 p.m. advisory  that moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are so far being experienced over Nueva Vizcaya, particularly in Sta. Fe, Kayapa, Bambang, Aritao, Ambaguio, Dupax del Sur, Dupax del Norte and Kasibu.

PAGASA said these conditions may persist for one to two  hours and may affect nearby areas.

“All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards,” PAGASA said.

PAGASA also warned residents of mountain slopes against possible landslides, mudslides, rock slides and flash floods.
