(Eagle News) — Authorities seized P68 million worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation in Cavite on Monday, the Philippine National Police said.
According to the PNP, also arrested during the operation in Town and Country Homes Subd., Dasmariñas City was Michael Lucas, 35.
Apart from the 10 kilograms of shabu seized from him, the PNP said it also seized three digital weighing scales and IDs.
According to the PNP, Lucas is a member of drug syndicate operating in Region 3, Metro Manila, Mindanao, and other nearby provinces.
PNP Chief Debold Sinas said the suspect gets his supply from a Chinese national imprisoned in Muntinlupa.
Charges are slated to be filed against Lucas.
“This is the result of the PNP’s intensified campaign against illegal drugs,” Sinas said.
