(Eagle News) — Authorities seized over P13 million worth of illegal drugs in a buy-bust operation in Negros Occidental on Sunday, Aug. 28, the Philippine National Police said.
According to the PNP, also arrested in the operation in Sitio Dapdap, Barangay Lantad, Silay City were Angie Dumdumaya, 30, and Angielyn Dumdumaya, 25.
Apart from the 2010 grams of illegal drugs worth P13,668,000, the PNP said seized from the suspects were the P30, 000 in buy-bust money, among others.
The suspects, which the PNP said were high-value targets, are now facing criminal charges.
“The PNP is working double-time to stop the proliferation of illegal drugs in every Region across the country, as we continue to intensified our anti-illegal drugs operations,” PNP chief Police General Rodolfo Azurin Jr. said.
