PNP launches probe into killing of Bacolod deputy police station chief

(Eagle News)–The Western Visayas police has launched a probe into the killing of a Bacolod deputy police station chief on Saturday, Jan. 26.

Chief Supt. John Bulalacao, head of the region 6 police, said he ordered the inquiry into the death of SP04 Oscar Exaltado of Station 6, who was ambushed by two suspects in Barangay Singcang-Airport in Negros Occidental at  7:30 a.m.

The police have said it was possible the killing was work-related.

Only recently, President Rodrigo Duterte relieved officials from Bacolod for allegedly allowing the proliferation of illegal drugs in the city.

Bulalacao also gave the assurance    that “justice will be served in the soonest time possible.”
