PHIVOLCS said the reports came with an image of Halcon with a cloud that appears to come from its peak.
“Nais po naming tiyakin sa publiko na HINDI BULKAN at hindi sasabog ang Mt. Halcon,” PHIVOLCS said.
Mt. Halcon is located in Baco, just south of Luzon.
It has a height of 2,586 meters, making it one of the highest peaks in the Philippines.
