(Eagle News)–Forty Filipinos have left Gaza through Rafah Crossing in Egypt, President Bongbong Marcos announced on Wednesday, Nov. 8.

According to the President, they are now on their way to Cairo, from where they shall depart for the Philippines.

The President said the successful passage of the Filipinos was made possible through the coordination of the DFA with the embassies in Israel, Jordan and Egypt.

He expressed hope the remaining Filipinos waiting for signal to exit the Rafah border would also be able to cross with their families.

Maraming salamat,” he said.
