4.4-magnitude earthquake strikes off Davao Oriental

(Eagle News) — A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Oriental early Wednesday, April 27. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 7 a.m. The epicenter was 115 kilometers southeast of Sarangani Island. The depth of focus of the earthquake, which was of tectonic origin, was 68 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
