(Eagle News)–A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Saturday, Aug. 27. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 11:29 a.m. The epicenter was 278 kilometers southeast of Balut Island. The depth of focus was 21 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
