No fare increase during holiday season

The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board gave its good news to the public, announcing that there will be no fare increase on all kinds of public utility vehicles this holiday season as well as at the beginning of 2016. AFP and PNP prepare for election period

Poe may no longer be included in official ballot

According to the Commission on Elections, they can no longer confirm if the name of Senator Grace Poe will remain in the official ballot and it depends on whether the Supreme Court will issue a temporary restraining order. Firework-related injuries before New Year

According to the Department of Health, one week before the celebration of the New Year, 8 cases of firework-related injuries were already reported, with majority of the victims coming from Manila. No Filipinos injured in Saudi Arabia fire

The Philippines sent an emergency response team to confirm if there are any Filipinos injured in the hospital fire in Saudi Arabia that killed and injured hundreds. According to the Department of Foreign Affairs, initial reports say that no Filipinos were injured in said fire.
