(Eagle News) — A 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Saturday, Jan. 21. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake was an aftershock of the 7.0-magnitude earthquake that hit the province on Jan. 18. The 4.3-magnitude earthquake hit at 11:58 a.m. The epicenter was 327 kilometers southeast of Balut Island. The depth of focus was 29 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake was an aftershock of the 7.0-magnitude quake reported in the province on Jan. 18. PHIVOLCS said the 4.2-magnitude quake hit at 5 a.m. The epicenter was 288 kilometers southeast of Balut Island. The depth of focus was 19 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
