(Eagle News) — Rodrigo Roa Duterte on Thursday, June 30, at exactly 12 noon, took his oath as the 16th President of the Philippines in Malacañang Palace. He took his oath before Supreme Court Associate Justice Bienvenido Reyes.  His youngest daughter held the Bible used during the oath-taking. Also present were other members of his family. At exactly 12:01 p.m., after he took his oath, President Duterte signs his oath of office.
