NBP suspends visitations in maximum security compound

QUEZON CITY, Philippines (Eagle News) — The New Bilibid Prison has suspended visitations to its maximum security compound. Bureau of Corrections Officer-In-Charge Superintendent Rolando Asuncion said that this was the decision of the Philippine National Police – Special Action Force after the stabbing incident that occurred in the said compound. The NBP’s medium and minimum security compounds, however, will continue to receive visitors.
