PAGASA: Easterlies affecting eastern parts of Visayas, Mindanao

(Eagle News) — The easterlies are affecting the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said, as a result, the  whole Visayas, Palawan, including the Kalayaan Islands and Occidental Mindoro will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms. (Eagle News) — A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Oriental on Tuesday, April 25. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 7:20 a.m. The epicenter was 113 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso. The depth of focus was 97 kilometers.
