(Eagle News)—A 3.4-magnitude quake struck Northern Samar early Thursday, April 19. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 41 kilometers northwest of Laoang at 2:07 a.m. The depth of focus of the quake, which was of tectonic origin, was 4 kilometers. Nodamage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
