4.2-magnitude quake hits Batangas

(Eagle News)–A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck Batangas on Thursday, May 9. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 20 kilometers southwest of Calatagan at 11:39 a.m. The earthquake, which was of tectonic origin, had a depth of focus of 129 kilometers.
