(Eagle News)–Several flights for Friday, Aug. 16, have been cancelled, the Manila International Airport Authority said. According to MIAA, the following flights were cancelled due to “operational reasons.” Qantas QF-019-Sydney-Manila QF-020-Manila-Sydney MIAA said all passengers have been re-accommodated to alternate flights.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 31 kilometers northwest of Bolinao at 3:35 a.m. Depth of focus was 19 kilometers.
