(Eagle News)–A 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental early Saturday, Aug. 17. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 278 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 3:51 a.m. Depth of focus was 70 kilometers.
