Faeldon admits Sanchez violations in prison not reflected in his file folder in BuCor

(Eagle News)–The violations committed by former Calauan, Laguna Mayor Antonio Sanchez were not reflected in his file folder at the Bureau of Corrections. Rainfall advisory hoisted over parts of N. Luzon

(Eagle News)–A rainfall advisory has been hoisted over parts of Northern Luzon. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said light to moderate rains are being experienced over Babuyan Island, Calayan Island, Camiguin Island, Dalupiri Island, Fuga Island and in Aparri, Baggao and Ballesteros in Cagayan. PAGASA said the conditions may persist for one to two hours. “Residents along mountain slopes are advised against possible landslides and flash floods,” PAGASA said.

3.4-magnitude quake hits Surigao del Norte

(Eagle News)–A 3.4-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Norte on Tuesday, Sept. 3. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 11 kilometers northwest of Socorro at 6:53 a.m. Depth of focus was 77 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
