3.4-magnitude quake hits Surigao del Norte

(Eagle News)–A 3.4-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Norte on Tuesday, Sept. 3.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 11 kilometers northwest of Socorro at 6:53 a.m.

Depth of focus was 77 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
